Safe Deposit Box

Looking for a place to store valuables and important papers? Mount Vernon Bank offers a variety of safe deposit box options. This gives you the confidence and security knowing that your valuables are safe and protected. When you come in to get access to your box, we have conveniently located private rooms available for your use. Choose from the following sizes and prices to find the box that is right for you!

Eliminates paper storage.
Print and save on your computer at any time.
Never worry again about when you will receive your statement.
Statements are password protected for your security.
It’s FREE.

To sign up for this service:

1. Send an email to info@mountvernonbank.com with the subject stating “eStatements”.
2. Via email, you will receive an electronic agreement form as an attachment.
3. Simply print the electronic agreement, fill it out, and return it to the bank.

Direct Deposit

Direct Deposit is a safe and easy way to have funds deposited directly into an account at Mount Vernon Bank and Trust Company. Advantages of direct deposit include:

Convenience		No need to make special trips to the bank to deposit your check. Your payroll check can be automatically deposited while you are away with no worries.

Security		Your check cannot be lost in the mail, stolen or misplaced.

Reliability		Your money will always be in your account on time.

Fast		Customers who utilize direct deposit can access the funds in their accounts at opening of business on payday. For income tax refunds, the government often makes refunds via Direct Deposit within days of processing returns. Also, there is no waiting for checks to clear.

Please contact the organization that issues the check for their direct deposit form. Fill it out completely using the Banks routing number (073904751) and your account number. If you need assistance filling out the form, please stop by the bank.
