e-Checking

Enjoy the rewards of free e-Checking while your money earns the rate of 3.00% APY* on account balances up to $25,000.00 and 0.50% APY* on additional balances over $25,000.00. To qualify, you must do a few things you’re probably already doing during each monthly statement cycle.

-20 (or more) debit card transactions (PIN or signature based not including ATMs) at merchants, retailers, online, etc.
- 1 (or more) ACH debits (such as utility bills, insurance payments, bill pay items, etc.)
- 1 (or more) direct deposit (such as payroll, social security, etc.)
- Receive a monthly E-statement
- Have an active online banking account

If during a monthly statement cycle you fall short of the account requirements, you will earn 0.10% APY* on your account balance during that month.

*Annual Percentage Yield(s) effective 11.15.09 and are subject to change after account opening. A minimum balance of $50 is required to open this account. Available for personal accounts only. Limit one account per primary user tax identification number.

The Friend Plus Checking is a completely free account designed exclusively for customers who are 50 or better.

Do you have three or more relationships with us? Then this is the account for you!

To qualify for Checking Plus, have three of the following relationships with us: direct deposit, a savings account balance of $500 or more, money market account, certificate of deposit, safe deposit box, Visa® Credit Card, mortgage loan, installment loan, trust services, or Investment Center of America Account**
